We are seeking a Workforce Manager to support our Classic Christmas event on-site at Katy Mills this holiday season.Position SummaryThe Workforce Manager is responsible for managing all workforce administration and talent acquisition during events. This includes sourcing, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, timekeeping, payroll review / approval, compliance, and offboarding. The role ensures that the event team is fully staffed, properly documented, and accurately scheduled and paid throughout the install, run of show, and load out. This is a seasonal, onsite role scheduled from October 13, 2025 through mid- to late- January 2026. The Workforce Manager is expected to support the full production cycle, including load-in, run of show, and load-out. Work hours will vary based on event needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, recruit, and hire seasonal and temporary staff for events.Serve as the workforce management contact for all onsite staff.Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.Manage clocking in / out procedures and oversee daily attendance.Accurately track and approve timesheets for event staff.Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and training requirements.Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, and appropriate escalation to HR.Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and regulations; act as a designated safety team member in emergencies and support HR through workers compensation reporting and follow-up processes.Plan, publish, and adjust daily / weekly staff schedules and break times.Facilitate workforce communication through daily info boards and scheduling updates.Maintain workforce documentation, including staff rosters, training records, and compliance logs.Prepare post-event workforce reports, including hours worked, payroll summaries, and staffing data.Support leadership team with staffing requirements across install, event run, and strike.Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications3+ years experience in Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition, or related field - event / entertainment experience preferred. Self-directed, extremely meticulous, and organized with an ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives.You have the ability to work with multiple leaders through a complex company to get things done. Demonstrates flexibility and creative problem-solving skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.Must be able to lift 50lbs.
