Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technician ready to bring specialized skills to a fast-paced surgical environment. The position requires hands-on expertise in a CVOR setting with a focus on heavy cardiac and operating room technology (ORT) procedures. Candidates must hold current certification or demonstrate extensive surgical technician proficiency in cardiovascular operations.

Key Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years experience in a CVOR surgical tech role Strong background in heavy cardiac OR procedures Certified Surgical Tech (CST) preferred; non-certified candidates considered with relevant experience Prior travel experience within healthcare preferred BLS certification required

Responsibilities : Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments Collaborate with OR teams to ensure efficient and safe patient care Manage call responsibilities approximately one weekend per month and additional weekday shifts as needed Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Schedule : 10-hour day shifts with flexible days off Call coverage as specified : includes occasional weekend and evening shifts

This is a 13-week contract role with an anticipated immediate start. Candidates should be able to work within a 50-mile radius of the permanent assignment address.
