- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience, including pediatric and critical care\n
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)\n
- Active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License\n
- Current certifications (American Heart Association) : \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS)\n
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)\n
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)\n
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification\n
- Strong knowledge of advanced nursing theory, emergency care techniques, and clinical best practices\n
- Must meet all facility health requirements ER Nurse Responsibilities\n
- Independently prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for acutely ill patients in the Emergency Care Center\n
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing and physician orders\n
- Respond rapidly to changing patient conditions and activate emergency protocols as needed\n
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes\n
- Accurately document patient data, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policy\n
- Maintain compliance with infection control, medication administration, and controlled substance regulations\n
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing professional development, and quality improvement initiatives\n
