STV is seeking a Full-Time Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager in Civil / Industrial Site Design for our Kentucky operations (offices in Lexington, Louisville, Owensboro, Glasgow). This role involves client coordination, strong communication skills, and technical expertise in project facilitation from notice to proceed to final closeout, including plan development, scheduling, cost estimating, and administrative duties. The position also requires supervising and guiding team members on objectives, critical issues, and policies.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Responsible for the successful completion of assigned engineering projects, applying extensive engineering knowledge to Civil and Industrial Site Design projects. Make independent decisions on engineering problems and represent the company in client meetings and coordination conferences.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct project completion. Establish and maintain primary contact with clients. Prepare schedules to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
  • Determine staffing needs, hire, train, manage, and motivate personnel.
  • Establish and maintain quality and accuracy standards. Review and approve plans and obtain necessary approvals from governing entities.
  • Participate actively in new business development.
  • Assist with project scope and prepare technical proposals.
  • Oversee invoicing and collection of payments; review and approve invoices; manage receivables.
  • Supervise Engineers and Technicians as needed. Collaborate with other managers and employees to achieve company goals.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE licensure in Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Willingness to assist in fieldwork, which may include working outdoors in various weather conditions and physical activities such as squatting, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with MicroStation and / or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with OpenSite, SiteOpps, or Civil3D is preferred.
  • Compensation Range : $76,703.94 - $102,271.92
