HVAC-Certified Service Technician

Location : Richmond, VA (with travel throughout the Richmond / Tri-Cities area)

Company : KRS Holdings, Inc.

Compensation : Starting at $27.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM, plus rotating on-call (every 4–6 weeks)

This is an "evergreen" position to build an applicant pool of skilled and HVAC-certified Service Technician to join our Richmond team. This role will include HVAC service as well as general residential maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems).

Perform HVAC installations and routine maintenance.

Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.

Communicate effectively with residents, explaining repairs and offering maintenance tips.

Support the general maintenance team with tasks including appliance repair, basic plumbing, light electrical, and carpentry.

Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders on time.

Adhere to company safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential).

EPA certification required; boiler experience is a plus.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Customer service-oriented with clear communication skills.

Must provide your own tools.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).

Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
