Home Health Aide / CNA

Part time position in South Haven, MI. In search of an experienced caregiver who is fully vaccinated, does not smoke or vape (THC or Nicotine). MUST LOVE DOGS

Seeking a part time experienced NON SMOKING / VAPING caregiver. Must be fully vaccinated (boosters not required at this time). The purpose of this position is to keep a woman in her 90's safe in her own home. This client is a fall risk! This is not an agency position. It is private pay with taxes taken out. Must be reliable and able to perform heavy lifting. Masks must be worn in the home (provided).

$18 - $20 an hour

Shifts are 12 hours : 8 to 8, 24 hour care.

Set schedule. Currently need every other Sunday 8 am to 8 pm, every other Sunday 8 pm to 8 am, and every Thursday 8 am to 8 pm. This would be 24 hours a week for all 3 shifts.

Responsibilities include :

Ambulation assistance with a gait belt

Monitoring in therapy pool (must go in with her)

Assisting with vitals

Cooking meals

Light housekeeping

Putting away deliveries as they arrive

Pet care (2 German Shepherds in the home)

Qualifications

• Skills in Patient Care and Personal Care
• Ability to swim
• Heavy lifting
• Strong Communication skills
• Empathy, patience, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow care plan
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is required
