Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN roles.

ICU and IMC patients will be monitored.

The unit utilizes specific charting software for acute care and emergency departments.

Floating to Medical / Surgical / Telemetry and IMC units is required, with possible float to the Emergency Department.

RN candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

The ability to access ports, manage arterial lines, and assist with various procedures is essential.

Skills in care of ventilated patients, management of renal failures, and blood product administration are required.

Candidates must demonstrate management of dysrhythmias, perform phlebotomy, and administer procedural sedation.

Interpretation of arterial blood gases and emergency medications is needed.

Isolation precautions and infection prevention protocols must be followed.

Experience in surgical wound care and ventilator management is necessary.

Floating within the hospital and weekend coverage is expected.

Candidates must provide references and meet compliance requirements.
