Clinical Associate - 9 MTN ICU - FT

• This position is located at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital

9 MTN ICU-This 12 bed ICU specializes in the care of Trauma / Neurosurgery patients, including those who require Epilepsy Monitoring post operatively. They serve as the alternate unit for operative stroke patients as well as other surgery patients, including general surgery.

This position is full time, working the night shift with every other weekend and rotating holidays

Successful candidate MUST BE able to attend required orientation classes during day time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm for the first 2 weeks. These classes are mandatory! At least two classes are being conducted online, but the rest of them will require you to attend classes in person in Roanoke, VA.

As a member of the clinical team, you will act as the clerical support, receptionist, and unit resource to support your team members in the unit health-care team. You'll perform basic clinical services relating to the care, cleanliness, safety, and comfort of patients of all genders.
