The Florida Legislature is seeking candidates for the position of OPS Graphics Assistant.
This is temporary employment during the legislative session (December 8, 2025 through February 20, 2026).
The duties for this position involve preparing digital files for large format / plotter printers, and then mounting and trimming the prints. Your responsibility is to maintain a professional standard of craft and physical presentation.
You may also be asked to create graphics, layouts, and illustrations that include, but not limited to; welcome / event posters, newsletter headers / footers, brochures, booklet covers, logos, info-graphs, display panels, branding, and other design aspects of print and digital publications.
Evening work with compensation is required for this temporary position during the legislative session.
Qualifications
Applicants must have received an Associate’s degree or currently working on a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university or certificate completion from an accredited technical school with a major in commercial / advertising art, studio or applied art, or visual communications, or one year of commercial art or illustrating experience in a graphics environment that involves large format printing.
Applicants should be prepared to show a simple portfolio example of experience mounting prints on foam board.
