SUMMARY :
The Program Manager is responsible for providing daily oversight of the program's operations. The Program Manager is the main contact with the funding agency and reports to the Program Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Takes a key role in the implementation of the program, including development of protocols and procedures.
- Supervises all program staff during regular and extended work hours.
- Assists in hiring activities : disseminating job descriptions and scheduling interviews, as well as conducting interviews.
- Develops job descriptions for staff openings.
- Provides leadership for all project activities, including day-to-day operations of the program.
- Ensures that background checks of staff are completed as appropriate.
- Provides oversight of program worksites.
- Creates internal reporting and evaluation methods to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
- Maintains client confidentiality and complies with any and all Federal, State, and City regulations as well as Vida / SIDA security and privacy policies intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.
- Coordinates the consumer / community advisory board meetings.
- Completes required reports.
- Ensures that goals and objectives are met.
- Reports progress as required by the funder.
- Completes mandatory training.
- Assists in grant writing and program evaluation activities.
- As needed, creates program partnerships to disseminate services.
- Creates processes to identify and recruit youth to participate in the program.
- Ensures client privacy and confidentiality.
- Attends the PRCC and program-specific and organizational activities and meetings, including but not limited to the monthly organization-wide General Assembly.
- Participates in organizational annual events including but not limited to the Puerto Rican People’s Parade, Fiesta Boricua, Three Kings Day, Haunted Paseo Boricua.
- Performs other functions assigned
- Collaborates with other programs of the PRCC.
- Other duties as required.
This position requires compliance with all of PRCC’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct, all policies and procedures and Regulatory Compliance requirements. Compliance will be considered as part of the regular performance evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Master’s degree preferred.Experience working with the target population.Knowledge of Program Coordination.Bi-lingual preferred - verbal, reading, and writing (Spanish and English).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Works independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, nonjudgmental, open personal qualities, and clear sense of boundaries.
