We are seeking an experienced
Designer (Arch Level II)
with a strong background in Educational Design to join our expanding team. Join the A4E team to collaborate on projects that promote the development of innovative spaces for learning and growth.
What You’ll Do
Conceptual & Schematic Design :
Develop early project components including programming, site analysis, massing studies, and concept development.
Translate Pedagogy into Design :
Work directly with educators to understand teaching methodologies and transform them into innovative architectural concepts.
Design Visualization :
Create compelling diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and presentations to communicate design vision to stakeholders.
Cross-Phase Collaboration :
Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination, and design development to maintain design intent across all project phases.
Construction Quality Control :
Support through submittal review, rfi responses, and site observations to ensure that the design intent is maintained.
What You Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited school.
4-6+ years of architectural experience with at least 2 years working on education projects
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Sketch Up, Adobe and related design software.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination tools
A passion for creating spaces that truly make a difference!
This role offers flexibility, with full remote options for exceptional candidates, though a hybrid arrangement in our LA office is preferred.
