As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a key role in managing access and supporting a positive experience for everyone on site. Pay Rate : $18.20 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat05 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AMSun05 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on site.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and emergency response activities as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
