About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

Patient population experience with adults to geriatrics

Telemetry unit experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)

Experience with Epic charting system

Description :

This position involves working in a telemetry unit.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses.

Patients may present with conditions such as CHF, MI / chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypotension, sepsis, and vascular issues.

The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients' cardiac health.

The ratio of nurses to patients is 1 : 4-5.

The unit averages a daily census of 35 patients across 36 rooms.

The nurse must demonstrate skills in cardiac telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Additional responsibilities include administering medications, managing IVs, and providing care for patients post-cardiac procedures.

The nurse should also be familiar with protocols for insulin and heparin administration.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care.

Nurses will be expected to work every other weekend.

No holiday requests will be accepted during the assignment.

Full compliance with requirements is necessary to ensure timely start.
