The Site Utilities Department for Joseph J. Magnolia has openings for individuals looking to get into the construction field. This department focuses on civil underground works, building out piping and sewers need to provide water to commercial buildings. This job involves physical labor, and large amounts of digging for ditches and manholes, also works in varying weather. If you want to learn and build a career for yourself, apply here!

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist tradesmen with daily tasks related to underground utility work
  • On-site clean up and demo
  • Loading and unloading of deliveries and materials
  • Follow directions of foreman and tradesmen
  • Continuous digging of ditches
  • Flagging
  • Confined Space work

Requirements :

  • Commitment to safety at all times
  • Reliable transportation
  • Have a "want to learn" attitude
  • Reliable attendance
  • Follow directions and attention to detail
  • Ability to pass Flagger written test (we provide training)
  • 2 years of construction experience (preferred)
