Float RN Position Summary :

Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

Document patient care provided and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team.

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.

Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to their circumstances.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and provide training and mentoring to staff.

Lead the resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing : (Preferred)

License : Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.

Certifications : BCLS; ACLS & PALS as per unit-specific requirements.

National Certification : Must be obtained within 1 year.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
