A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel for a 4-month contract position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, fully remote.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead negotiation of sophisticated, sales-driven commercial agreements with Fortune 500 and enterprise-level clients
Support sales teams on transactions ranging from $200K-$300K+ ARR
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to data governance, security, and privacy regulations
Qualifications :
J.D. and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
6+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in top law firms and in-house technology companies
Strong background in technology transactions, SaaS, and enterprise commercial contracting
Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory frameworks
Experience with U.S. federal contracting and FedRAMP requirements strongly preferred
