The Sliding Fee Scale Specialist-Lead is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for Sliding Fee Scale Audits across Compass Health Network. This position is also responsible for overseeing and providing initial and annual training relevant staff, as well as directly supervises the Sliding Fee Scale Specialist.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday -Friday.

Core Responsibilities :
Supervise and train sliding fee scale specialistWill ensure all locations are trained and using consistent processes for sliding fee scale paperwork of all patientsDisseminate information to staff regarding sliding fee scale changes / updatesReview and audit all sliding fee scale paperworkEnsure data entry matches sliding fee paperworkInitial contact for sliding fee scale paperwork questions Compass wideRun weekly, monthly EMOMED verifications for all uninsured patients across the network in conjunction with the revenue teamPerform periodic reviews of slide intake / annual paperwork for completeness for medical, dental and behavioral health programsReview evaluation feedback from trainings provided and adjust as neededMaintain updating sliding fee scale documents in conjunction with VP of Scheduling and VP of RevenueAdditional Duties :
Provide Vice President of Scheduling with reports on office efficiency and patient flow as requestedAdvise Vice President of Scheduling of any concerns or problems reported by patients or with current patient flow protocolsAttends monthly staff meetings as requiredConducts self in accordance with Compass Health’s employee manual.Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines / regulationsAttend all training as required by Compass Health, Accreditors and FundersOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of superviseeCompletes performance development / AIM processTime card management – manages time sheetsEnsures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
