Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity serves PreK through 12th grade students in general and special education settings within multiple schools located in the Zanesville, Ohio area, specifically Cambridge, Dresden, and Newark.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students aged PreK-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals across diverse educational environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district policies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs and monitor therapy outcomes.
  • Adapt communication strategies to address a range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Possession of a valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children spanning PreK through 12th grade.
  • Ability to work effectively with a mixed caseload, including general education and special education students.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with staff and families.
  • Position Details :

  • Location : Positions available at East Muskingum and New Lexington schools, serving the Zanesville, OH 43701 community.
  • Schedule : One full-time position (5 days / week) and one four-day / week position.
  • Contract duration : Comprehensive school year assignment (2025-2026).
  • Caseload : Varied with mixed disabilities in a K-12 school environment.
