Snowflake Data Engineer

Title : Snowflake Data Engineer

Location : Remote (CST OR EST)

Duration : 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Top 3 Must-Have Requirements

Hands-on Snowflake experience (2+ years) : Must know how to model data, optimize queries, and manage Snowflake environments.

ETL / ELT pipeline development : Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or similar.

Strong SQL and programming (Python, Java, or Scala) : SQL expertise is critical for managing and transforming data, with a solid programming background to support advanced data processing.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (minimum 2 years), including schema design, modeling, and query optimization.
• Proven background in building and supporting ETL / ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills, plus experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala .
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Bonus : exposure to financial services or credit union data environments, as well as BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
