Ackerman Elementary is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative library paraprofessional to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the check-in and check-out of materials and assist students with general inquiries and technology use questions.
• Shelve and organize materials, and repair books.
• Perform clerical duties, maintain files, assist with library programs and events, and create and maintain library displays.
• Manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and ensure the overall order of the library.
• Use an integrated library system, various databases, and general office software.
• Class coverage while classroom teachers are meeting.
