Job Title :

  • Mainframe Cobol Developer Job Location : Columbus, OH Job Type : Onsite Responsibilities :   Design, code, test, and maintain complex mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and IMS.
  • Lead development projects and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable mainframe solutions.
  • Optimize existing programs for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.
  • Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support application deployment and system upgrades.
