Work Schedule
Monday-Friday
2 days in office and 3 days rounds / cases
Hospital : 8am start - last consult 4pm
Office : 8am start - last scheduled patient 4pm
Last groin stick 4 : 30, Average finish time 5 / 5 : 30 Office / Clinic schedule
2 days per week and one day a month for new patients
8am - 4pm
New Physicians see 1 patient per hour & number is gradually increased over time
Once ramped up, see new patients for 30 minutes and Established patientsfor 15 minutes(w APP / RN to help) Hospital schedule
3 days a week
Mix of hospital rounds and Interventional cases coronary / peripheral cases
Rounds are at 1 hospital only. 2 hospitals are rare and usually only happen if a high-risk case is done at another facility.
Option for structural procedures / TAVR if desired
Peripheral vascular training required Call schedule
Interventional Call every 5th week Monday - Sunday
General Weeknight is Mon-Thurs 1 night Q 2 + weeks
Weekends include sharing general call and main hospital rounding Office Reading
Split between readers
Can read in office or remotely from hospital or from home
Summary Salary, Paid Time Off, Benefits
Year 1 : $475k + sign on bonus $25K = $500k
Year 2 and beyond : Base Salary $500k+ Eligible productivity bonus + directorship if applicable
20days PTO + 5 sick days+ 6 holidays + 5 CME days = 36 days annually
CMEReimbursement up to $5,000 / year
