Security Officer - Education Full-Time Patrol

As a Security Officer - Education Full-Time Patrol in Bryn Mawr, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will conduct unarmed patrols throughout an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. You will remain visible, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor premises for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters.
  • Document incidents and observations in detailed reports as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
