IT Security Analyst

Overview

United Alloy is seeking an actively engaged IT Support Tech to add to our team at our Janesville, WI location!

Reports to : IT Operations Manager

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the overall security of United Alloy's IT systems and applications by helping to ensure security policies and processes are followed. They will review, analyze and modify systems including testing and troubleshooting to support the organization's security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user security related issues.
• Proactively monitor logs and respond to alerts and alarms.
• Maintain security related knowledgebase of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures.
• Create and maintain training materials and provide continuous training and support.
• Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
• Conduct Phishing and security training.
• Help identify opportunities to streamline business processes to best leverage business systems.
• Maintain and enhance performance and features of new and existing software and tools.
• Secondary tasks may include involvement in the implementation of new security solutions and procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned and support Helpdesk as needed.
