The Night Audit Supervisor oversees the nightly operations of the Front Office and Night Audit staffs. Act as contact person for guest and other hotel departments during "graveyard" shift. Responsibilities include supervising the night accounting employees, reconciling and completing all daily front desk agents' work, running Find trial balance to post rooms and close day, running accounts receivable reports, providing next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required, investigating all service and safety issues reported during the shift to find their cause and give recommendations to avoid repeated issues, initiating investigations, writing and supervising the creation of incident reports, monitoring investigations to their timely conclusion, ensuring appropriate follow up with guests and visitors, documenting all contacts, checking guests in and / or out, operating / handling telephone lines, escorting incoming guests to their rooms when feasible, carrying out any reasonable request by Management that is capable of being performed, and possessing supervisory skills and abilities. Ability to make decisions based on set policies and procedures, oral and written communications skills, and good telephone etiquette are also required.
