Project Accountant

VHB is currently looking to hire a Project Accountant to join our Northeast Regional Finance group. This position will sit in either our New York, New York or Hauppauge, New York office and work a hybrid schedule. Our team collaborates with both public and private clients in various industries such as transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy. Additionally, we work closely with federal, state, and local governments.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and processing of client invoices and contract documents
• Client and sub-consultant contract maintenance
• Assistance with project setup, budgeting and monitoring
• Accounts receivable collection assistance
• Assistance with research & resolution of client questions

Qualifications

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in New York City is $30 / hr $40 / hr. Our best estimate of the salary range for Hauppauge locations is $28 / hr - $38 / hr. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities and geographic location.
