Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacy Technician seeking a contract position within a Long Term Care (LTC) Mail Order environment. The role offers a 2nd shift schedule, running Monday through Friday from 2pm to 11pm, with rotation every other weekend. The contract duration is 8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions.
  • Manage prescription refills and order processing in the Mail Order and LTC setting.
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure correct medication delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in LTC and Mail Order environments.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medication handling.
  • Ability to work the specified 2nd shift hours including rotating weekends.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
