As a Certified Medical Assistant at the Needham Cancer Center, you'll work alongside Harvard-affiliated oncologists and multidisciplinary specialists in a fast-paced, patient-centered ambulatory setting. You'll be trusted to use your clinical training, technical skill, and proactive mindset to manage a wide range of responsibilities, from supporting complex treatments to facilitating seamless patient flow and communication.

Job Description : Key Responsibilities
Perform direct patient care activities including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and clinical prepAssist providers during routine procedures and examsTriage patients and support complex care coordination with sensitivity and precisionFacilitate patient flow and clinic operations by preparing charts, confirming referrals, and communicating updatesPerform administrative tasks such as check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification as neededAccurately document patient interactions and updates in the electronic medical record (Epic)Communicate with patients and families clearly, respectfully, and compassionately in person and over the phoneEnsure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for use at all timesWhat You Bring
Required :
High School Diploma or GEDOne of the following :Medical Assistant (MA) certificate or diplomaEMT, CNA, or LNA certificationAt least 5 months of direct patient care experience in a clinical or research setting (including nursing or medical students with completed clinical rotation)Basic computer proficiency and comfort using web-based systems and EMRsPreferred :
