We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at DeLacy Ford. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
- Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and associated systems efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
- Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
- Assemble components as needed for various diesel applications.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in training junior technicians when necessary.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Strong knowledge of power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
