Job Overview

We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team. Currently, we need a technician for our normal business hour jobs (40-60 hours per week) and a technician for after hours / emergency work orders (3rd shift, hours vary).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. Also experience in commercial kitchen appliance repairs is preferred / helpful. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
Troubleshoot HVAC or commercial kitchen equipment issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and pumps.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all work performed.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Document all service calls and repairs in detail for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with team members to build efficient solutions for complex HVAC challenges.
Participation in On-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

Experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry preferred.

Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, and appliance repair preferred.

Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.

Ability to perform equipment repair, including welding and plumbing tasks as needed.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.

Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are a plus but not mandatory.
