ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM / 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

    • \n

  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Must have 2+ years ICU experience

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH

    • \n

  • Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)

    • \n

  • Must float between units as needed per hospital floating policy

    • \n

  • Required skills : hemodynamic monitoring (swans, art lines), ventilator management, strong critical thinking skills

    • \n

  • Preferred skills : IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, Meditech charting / order entry experience

    • \n

  • Procedures include post CABG, post VAD, post catheterization with various cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO)

    • \n

  • Documentation system : Meditech

    • \n

  • Dress code : Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs

    • \n

  • Must badge in / out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break

    • \n

  • Clock in time 6 : 38 AM / PM required (after 6 : 45 AM / PM considered tardy)

    • \n

  • Clean and healthy nail policy, neat hair with no extreme styles or colors required

    • \n

  • Body art should be covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
