Foundational Department Administrative Assistant 2
As the Foundational Department Administrative Assistant 2 , you will report to the Operations Manager and serve as the primary point of contact for the Foundational Practice Department in the College of Nursing. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the department chair, coordinate departmental programs, and serve as a liaison between the chair and faculty. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the chair, program directors, and the operations manager to fulfill a broad range of responsibilities.
In this role, you will exercise delegated authority to coordinate and provide administrative and staff support services during the absence of a supervisor, ensuring continuity of operations and adherence to established policies and procedures.
This is a full-time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
This position works on-site the WSU Spokane campus. Monthly Salary : $3,665 to $4,882 | Range 41 | Steps A - M. Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
