Get ready to take the next big leap in your career with our exciting opportunity for a Permanent Plant Controller in the Manufacturing industry. Our company is a global leader in manufacturing, and we are on the hunt for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team. As a Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial performance and bringing financial clarity to our operations.

Responsibilities :

As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for :

1. Developing and maintaining adequate financial controls and ensuring their application.

2. Providing financial analysis, planning, and forecasting for the plant to assist in decision making.

3. Preparing accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Collaborating with plant management to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

5. Coordinating with the corporate finance team to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.

6. Utilizing financial systems and tools (SAP, Hyperion, Business Warehouse) to provide critical financial and operational information.

7. Leading the annual budgeting process and implementing cost control programs.

8. Evaluating new business opportunities, investments, and capital expenditure proposals.

9. Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, audit, and internal control policies.

10. Providing financial training to plant personnel to improve financial awareness and understanding.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA designation is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Strong financial acumen including experience with forecasting, financial reporting, and financial planning.

4. Proficiency in using financial software such as SAP, Hyperion, and Business Warehouse.

5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

7. The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive to improve and streamline processes.

9. A high level of integrity and reliability, with a commitment to uphold the company's values and ethical standards.
