Key Responsibilities :
Examine and Diagnose : Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and create treatment plans for patients.Preventive Care : Provide routine dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures.Restorative Procedures : Perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and other restorations to treat decayed or damaged teeth.Oral Surgery : Extract teeth and perform minor surgical procedures, including simple and surgical extractions.Cosmetic Procedures : Provide aesthetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to improve patients' smiles.Patient Education : Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to maintain oral health.Prosthodontics : Provide dentures, partials, and other prosthetic appliances for tooth replacement.Collaborative Care : Work with our orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons when referrals are necessary.Skills :
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.Proficient in the latest dental technologies and techniques.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage patient anxiety and create a comfortable environment.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Work Environment :
Collaboration with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff.Interaction with a diverse patient base, requiring empathy and clear communication.Schedule :
Full-time, evening and weekend hours.
Compliance :
Adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations regarding patient safety, data privacy, and professional standards.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.State Licensure : Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania.CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Continuing education in accordance with state regulations.Perks and Benefits :
