Hospital Discharge Service Driver

Overview

The Hospital Discharge Service Driver is responsible for transporting wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region. Assists in AMSEC when needed.

Qualifications

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA); Driver's License - Secretary of State (SOS)Secretary of State (SOS), Education : H.S. Diploma / GED, Work Experience : Driving

Responsibilities

Assists staff at medical facilities in moving patients into and out of wheelchairs

Transports wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region.

Clean and keep wheeel chair vans in good working conditon.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $16.59per hour - $26.88per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
