Role Overview

The Social & Marketing Motion Video Editor will be a key creative contributor, responsible for bringing energy, emotion, and brand personality to LOVB’s social and marketing content through motion design, animation, and advanced editing. You’ll collaborate closely with the social, marketing, and brand teams to conceptualize and deliver motion graphics and video assets that captivate audiences, strengthen brand identity, and drive engagement across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics for social content, digital ads, brand campaigns, and internal marketing materials.
  • Edit video content that integrates live action, typography, and animation to create dynamic, storytelling-driven pieces for social, promotions and ads.
  • Develop templates, lower thirds, and graphics packages for recurring series, highlights, and branded content.
  • Collaborate with social and marketing teams to brainstorm visual concepts that align with campaign goals and brand tone.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all motion and video deliverables, maintaining visual standards and storytelling cohesion.
  • Stay ahead of motion design and social content trends, experimenting with new techniques, transitions, and visual languages.

Work with footage from a variety of sources — including in-house shoots, broadcast captures, and user-generated content.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in motion design and video editing.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of composition, typography, timing, and animation principles.
  • Experience creating content for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X) with an understanding of what performs on each.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate creative briefs into compelling motion visuals.
  • Knowledge of sound design and visual rhythm to elevate storytelling.
  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
  • Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels.
  • Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
  • Location

    Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel for site visits and business-related events.
