Position Title : Child Care Shift Supervisor

Reports To : Child Care Manager

Supervises : Child Care Attendants

Summary of Position

The childcare Shift Supervisor provides basic direction, guidance and supervision of children of different age groups. Provides work direction of staff in absence of or at the direction of the Manager.

This position supervises the Childcare Attendants.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to germs and / or viruses. The Team Member will be exposed to bio-hazardous fluids such and blood and other bodily fluids. May be subject to high stress environments.
