Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Dispatch Specialist in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in supporting a secure environment for a prominent financial institution. Your responsibilities include monitoring and coordinating security-related activities, managing access control, and responding to alarm panels to help deter incidents. You will remain alert, communicate clearly with team members, and deliver outstanding service to all individuals on site. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and manage communication systems to support security-related operations and activities within the location.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Dispatch security personnel to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Track and document incidents, calls, and events as required by site protocols.
  • Coordinate with on-site staff and external emergency responders as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of all areas via surveillance systems and communication tools.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all dispatch activities and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
