A company is looking for a Data Center Materials Engineer to lead materials strategy and qualification for cooling and infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities
Specify and qualify materials for wetted systems, including metals, polymers, and coatings
Architect corrosion and erosion control programs and lead test and qualification plans
Engage with industry standards bodies to advance testing methodologies and materials best practices
Required Qualifications
BS / MS in Materials Science / Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field; PhD is a plus
8+ years of experience in materials for mission-critical infrastructure, focusing on wetted systems
Hands-on expertise in corrosion science and fluid-material compatibility
Proven experience in crafting material specifications and test plans
Proficiency with materials characterization techniques and data analysis
