Overview

Data Center Facility Operations Specialist responsible for data center facility operations including risk management, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate projects with managers and business leaders to manage capacity and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical facilities systems (e.g., switchgear, generators, UPS, power distribution, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems).
• Serve as first escalation point for all facilities-related issues (MEP).
• Oversee maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire / life safety equipment using detailed technical procedures.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed while performing work.
• Manage and respond to ticketing queue based on priority and risk to customers.
• Perform routine equipment and site monitoring using BMS, EPMS, and HMI for remote / local monitoring.
• May assist in design and build-out of new facilities and in projects to increase facility efficiency.
• Responsible for asset and inventory management.
• Assist in recruiting efforts and deliver quality service to meet customer demands.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be limited by plan terms. Eligible benefits for this temporary role may include :
