Summary
We are seeking a Trust Administrator I to join the team within Premier Trust, a member of Osaic. The position is responsible for the basic administration of trust accounts, maintaining all account records, and producing reports as needed. This role represents the company by maintaining good customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Authority to open new accounts by obtaining the latest information and documentation from clients; reviewing and analyzing documentation; tracking and following up on missing items; completing new account forms.
- Prepare forms for client disbursements, deposit receipts, automatic payment setup requests, wire transactions, ACH transfers, and trade requests.
- Provide consultation with the trust officer regarding proper vesting, handling, and following of assets.
- Contact or correspond with persons, agencies, and organizations that have an interest in any aspect of assigned accounts.
- Review and process various reports.
- Perform duties including scheduling appointments and / or tasks as necessary; assemble documents, reports, or other information as required; answer and direct calls; take and relay messages; sort, screen, and distribute mail without supervision.
- Organize and maintain customer account files.
- Close accounts in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide effective customer service and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers; ensure information is delivered; investigate and resolve problems within the knowledge level.
- Gather and calculate data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Compose, prepare, and proofread correspondence such as internal memorandums and emails to customers for supervisor's signature.
- Operate personal computer to input and process data.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data.
- Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files.
- Comply with BSA, AML, and USA PATRIOT ACT policies; verify identity of persons / businesses opening accounts; consult lists of known terrorists; maintain verification records.
- Report any customer suspected of suspicious activity to the BSA / Compliance Officer.
- Reconcile credit card statements monthly; submit receipts; reimburse Premier Trust from client accounts when applicable.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant administrative experience in a financial institution is preferred.Basic Requirements
1+ years basic knowledge of state and federal trust regulations and applicable compliance policies.Basic administrative skills from education and experience in an administrative position.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents; general office practices; and proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.Typing skills to meet production needs; ability to handle routine to non-standard problems with attention to detail.Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to follow instructions and write reports and correspondence; speak clearly to customers and employees.Courteous social skills to welcome visitors; strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.Attention to detail.Equal Opportunity Employer
