Overview
The Electronics Engineer II formulates design concepts for engineering problems. They also lead technical projects, monitor project scope, and respond to engineering concerns.
Responsibilities
- Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
- Support responses to customer RFIs & RFQs
- Support SMPS development for efficient power conversion
- Work with cross-functional team members to identify and address critical performance parameters
- Develop and implement EMI / EMC compliant and other circuit protection designs including transient suppression, EMI filters and shielding. (Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 required)
- Oversee board layout development with special attention to detail
- Perform research and analysis for the design and development of new projects with minimal oversight from engineering
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clearly communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation strategies for ongoing programs
- Support development and updates to engineering drawings, documents, and reports
- Support the development of new hardware prototypes to confirm manufacturability and performance levels
- Understanding of general electronics terminology and test equipment
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR six (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Related Field of Study.Ability to analyze system requirements.Hands on experience and understanding of power electronics, analog sense, and signal integrity.Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.Additional information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.Pay Range : $80,161.61 - $100,202.02 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.Benefits
