Key Responsibilities and Duties :
Lead and oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships / LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.Maintain and grow strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and development.Research and interpret complex income tax laws to provide solutions for clients.Ensure high-quality work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Oversee compliance with firm policies and applicable tax regulations.Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on client strategy and firm initiatives.Qualifications Needed :
CPA license requiredMaster’s in Taxation preferredMinimum 8 years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation, with at least 5 years at the tax manager levelComprehensive understanding of income tax lawsExperience in tax research and interpretation of complex tax issuesProven leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staffExcellent interpersonal and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work extended hours during tax season
