Join a fast-growing financial advisory and accounting firm as a Senior Tax Associate on a collaborative, high-performing tax team. Work fully remote or hybrid from our Southern California office. This role blends hands-on tax compliance, client interaction, mentoring, and technical research.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review partnership, S corporation, and individual tax returns.
- Supervise and review staff work for accuracy and compliance.
- Handle client communications to collect information and provide timely updates.
- Mentor junior team members and support career development.
- Research complex federal and state tax issues and draft technical memos.
- Coordinate with accounting and advisory teams on integrated tax planning.
- Propose and help implement process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.License : Active CPA required.Experience : 3–4+ years in tax preparation in public accounting or equivalent.Technical skills : Strong knowledge of S corporation basis rules, depreciation, and taxation of business sales.Other : Excellent written and verbal communication; organized and able to manage multiple engagements; commitment to continuous learning.Compensation and benefits
