Position Summary

The primary function of a Patient Service Representative Float is to provide administrative support for our Primary Care and Specialty practices across our TidalHealth Network including, Salisbury, MD, Berlin / Ocean Pines, MD, Seaford, DE and points in between. The Patient Service Representative Float is responsible for greeting patients as well as check in and check out. This includes but is not limited to verification and maintenance of all patient information including identification, insurance and financial info. The Patient Service Representative Float also coordinates patient communication with required staff under the direct supervision of the office supervisor / manager. Reliable transportation is required.

Patient Service Representative Float Position Summary

Our Patient Service Representative Float position offers short term coverage in geographically centered locations to cover absences, vacations, and staff shortages. Patient Service Representative Float personnel gain experience in a variety of practice specialties such as Family Practice, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology.

This Float Position is assigned to the ________ areas.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology and / or medical secretarial degree (2years) preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years secretarial experience required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office computer programs, practice management systems and spreadsheets preferred
• Reliable transportation. You will be expected to travel within the Health System's Primary Care and Specialty Practices network as needed to support the office's daily function.
• Stipend paid for Mileage.
