Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2 years experience
  • ACLS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
  • Associate’s degree

    • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate electrophysiology equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.
  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, cardiac catheterizations, and ablation procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously during procedures.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of EP equipment, including catheters and recording systems.
  • Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including preparation, positioning, and monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient data using EPIC or other electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition during procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including sterile techniques and radiation safety guidelines.
