White Horse Village (WHV), a prestigious retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add full-time drivers to our team! WHV offers housing and healthcare services for older adults, and is a community that lives out its mission to intentionally create opportunities for extraordinary living in a vibrant, diverse community through personal growth, connectedness and relationships. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with older adults, and are interested in having a flexible and / or part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include :

• Driving residents to medical appointments / trips / community outings
• Assist in maintaining vehicles
• Assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program on vehicles.
• Comply with all OSHA and CDC regulations
• Assist residents with packages, assistive devices such as canes / walkers as needed
• Other duties as required

Requirements

CDL (Class B)

A demonstrated commitment to safety

Excellent communication skills and customer service skills

Experience working with older adults preferred, but not required

At least 1 year of driving passengers

Valid driver’s license in PA

Clean driving record

All WHV team members must have an annual flu vaccine
