Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the East Rutherford, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

We are hiring for the positions of Automotive Assistant Manager and Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assistant Manager : support the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Enforce policies, procedures and standards; schedule mechanics / technicians, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain team safety.
• Service Manager : assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services. Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair / maintenance work; drive sales initiatives; communicate with customers; assess needs; provide information on repairs and maintenance; aim to ensure customer satisfaction and store experience.
