About The Position

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is based out of the Educational Support Center and involves providing services for students in the Homebound, Out of District, and Independence Academy programs.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pediatric students who require individualized speech and language support. The role includes travel to student homes within the district.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in homebound or specialized educational settings.

Develop and implement IEP goals specific to students’ speech / language needs.

Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring in accordance with school policies and timelines.

Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive student support.

Maintain accurate documentation and complete reports in a timely manner.

Adapt therapy sessions to fit the home or alternative education environment.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

License : Valid Colorado CDE (Colorado Department of Education) SLP license

Experience : Minimum of 1 year working with pediatric populations

School-based experience is highly preferred

Other Requirements : Must be comfortable and willing to travel to student homes for service delivery

Additional Notes :

Fingerprinting required prior to start; candidate must be in-state to complete this process.
