Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. This person will work closely with our advisors and clients to provide year-round tax advice, prepare and file individual and small business tax returns, and contribute to integrated financial planning strategies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individuals and small business clients. Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings and strategies. Provide tax planning guidance that aligns with clients’ retirement and investment goals. Communicate with clients directly to gather tax documents and provide updates. Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and their implications for our clients. Collaborate with financial advisors to provide holistic, forward-looking financial advice. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all tax reporting requirements. Qualifications Proven experience as a tax preparer (3+ years preferred). CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax laws. Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-focused environment. Why Join Us?
